Snow Days

Check the "News and Events" page of this website or call the studio at 384-6146 if you suspect a snow day.  Any changes will be announced on the Barefoot voicemail message and posted on this website. 

Sick Days

Please call the studio if your child will be absent. 

Parking

You can park in the parking area as well as along the driveway.  There are also a few spots near the exit on the left.  Please avoid parking on the lawn.  If you plan to leave during your child’s class, pull all the way up the driveway to the exit.  Absolutely no backing out onto 9W!  Also, traffic in the driveway is one-way only: enter at the Barefoot sign, exit by the buoy.  Drive very slowly. 

Privacy

Feel free to make yourself comfortable in the waiting area, as well as outside in the Barefoot yard.  Please avoid the house and private lawns. 

Dress Code

Students should wear non-restrictive clothing.  Some suggestions are leotards, footless tights, snug-fitting t-shirts, leggings and fitted sweatpants. Bare feet (of course).

Directions

The Barefoot Dance Center is located at 1645 Route 9W in West Park, New York.

From the Mid-Hudson Bridge: Take Highland Exit.  Continue north on Route 9W for 6.5 miles.  Barefoot is on your right soon after Stonehedge Restaurant.

From New Paltz: Follow Route 299 until it ends at Route 9W.  Turn left (north) onto Route 9W and continue for 4 miles.  Barefoot is on your right soon after Stonehedge Restaurant.

From Kingston (Junction of Routes 32 & 9W):  Take Route 9W south for 10.4 miles.  Barefoot is on the left, just after the Holy Cross Monastery.

From the Port Ewen Library:  Continue south on Broadway (Route 9W) for 7.6 miles.  Barefoot is on the left, just after the Holy Cross Monastery.

From Esopus/Old Post Road: Take Route 9W south for 1.8 miles.  Barefoot is on the left, just after the Holy Cross Monastery.
