Creative Movement (Ages 3-5 years)

Tuesdays, May 20, 27, June 3, 10 (4:00-4:45pm)

This creative and joyful class will encourage young children to discover the wonders of how their bodies move. Music, singing and stories will pave the way for our imaginative and athletic explorations.  (Fee: $50)

Modern Dance for Boys & Girls (Ages 6-10 years)

Tuesdays, May 20, 27, June 3, 10 (5:00-6:00pm)

This exciting and energetic class will focus on basic modern technical skills and improvisation. We will use our creative tools and world music to inspire us to make up dances. All levels are welcome. (Fee: $50)

Modern Technique & Choreolab (Ages 10 & up)

Thursdays, May 22, 29, June 5, 12 (4:15-6:00pm)

This four-week session will cover modern technique, improvisation and composition. It is the perfect combination class for those wishing to improve their technical skills, while also exploring their more creative sides. All levels are welcome. (Fee: $60)

Ballet Basics for Kids & Teens

Fridays, May 23, 30, June 6, 13 (5:45-7:00pm)

This class is being offered as a special introduction for newcomers to ballet, as well as for modern dancers who would like to explore a more classical style. Both styles of dance compliment each other well, and promote the development of strong, well-rounded dancers. Students of both ballet and modern are welcome. Kathy McDonald of Willow Dance will be teaching this workshop. (Fee: $55)

Adult Modern

Tuesdays, May 20, 27, June 3, 10 (6:15-7:30pm)

This 4 session workshop will be a combination of modern dance and improvisation. The emphasis is on healthy alignment, joyful dancing and creative exploration. This is good for the center, energizing for the body and guaranteed to lift your spirits! All levels are welcome. (Fee: $55)
